Siempre es una buena notica saber que uno de los más grandes directores de todos los tiempos sigue en activo. Por eso hay que recibir con alabanzas cada nuevo proyecto de Clint Eastwood. Parece que tras la genial (y olvidada en los Oscars) “Invictus”, Eastwood le ha tomado el gusto a las películas biográficas, y es uno de los directores que se barajan para el biopic del que fuera director de FBI J. Edgar Hoover.
El guión correra a cargo de otro especialista en biopics, el ganador de un Oscar por “Milk” Dustin Lance Black. Curiosamente ambos proyectos comparten el apellido del protagonista en el título. Esperemos que también compartan un gran guión. Aún no se sabe nada del reparto ni de la historia. Recordemos que Eastwood aún tiene que terminar y estrenar su último proyecto “Hereafter”, un drama sobrenatural protagonizado por Matt Damon y Bryce Dallas Howard, que tiene previsto estrenar en diciembre de este año, por lo que hasta 2011 no podremos disfrutar de “Hoover”, si es que finalmente Clint acaba dirigiéndola.
Genial que el maestro Eastwood no deje de trabajar, directores como éste señor, son los que se necesitan para que la industria no decaiga con tantos productos artificiosos como el ultimo trabajo del señor James Cameron.
Lástima que nunca llego a cristalizarce ese sueño humedo (por lo menos para mi) de ver enfundado al gran Clint en el traje de un Batman crepuscular de la novela gráfica The Dark Knigth de Frank Miller.
Totalmente de acuerdo Jorge. Creo que cuando escuchamos aquel rumor, todos pensamos en la gran película… que desafortunadamente nunca vimos. El regreso del caballero oscuro, es una de las mejores historias de Batman que se han escrito nunca, y haber visto a Clint enfundado en las desvencijadas mallas del murciélago no habría tenido precio. ¿Quién podría haber hecho de superman en esa misma supuesta película?
