Hoy en franco proceso de olvido, la imagen de Charlot es el rostro y la iconografía más famosos de la historia del cine, y uno de los personajes y artistas más importantes del siglo XX. Para intentar remitir ese olvido paulatino, los siempre aguerridos chicos del Caixa Forum de Madrid han preparado una gran exposición en torno al genial cómico y cineasta.
La gran presentación consta de 300 fotografías, documentos y fragmentos de películas, en un minucioso trabajo de reconstrucción que es buena muestra tanto de la actividad incansable como de la personalidad inabarcable del misterioso y trágico Chaplin, quien hasta el final fue un artista maldito, famosísimo, rico, amado, odiado e incomprendido.
