Hace unos días os anunciábamos que la recientemente nominada al Oscar por su papel de adolescente embarazada en Juno, Ellen Page, se apartaba del nuevo proyecto de Sam Raimi.
Pero ahora ya conocemos el nombre de la afortunada actriz a la que le han asignado el papel de Page. Se trata de Alison Lohman, que se una así al thriller sobrenatural Drag Me to Hell, de Universal Pictures.
El rodaje comenzará en Los Angeles el próxima día 31 de marzo.
I didn’t love Drag Me to Hell, mostly beucase I wanted it to go further than it was really willing to go, but I enjoyed it. The visceral reaction some have to the kitten sacrifice is quite surprising to me; actually I found the scene in question rather amusing. Raimi was obviously playing with the audience’s empathic priorities and for me it was quite funny, albeit darkly so. And I’ll be honest, I love animals, but would I sacrifice a pet to save my eternal soul? Hell yes! I wouldn’t feel great about it but people in desperate situations—normal people, not evil people—have done far worse things. I’m willing to bet most in that situation would have done the same.
